This kits suits all F-Body vehicles from 1970 to 1981 and comes assembled on modified spindles for simplicity!
Upgrade is compatible with stock 1" and 1-1/8" bore master cylinders, though differing master cylinders may be used for pedal feel preferences or low engine vacuum situations. As a Baer stockist we stock Baer's remaster cylinders in 15/16", 1" & 1-1/8" bore options. Generally 1" Bore masters represent optimal pedal travel & feel.
This kit includes;
-1 pair of T4 calipers with Ceramic Pads (Upgrade Pads available),
-Adapter Brackets and mounting hardware,
-BF Goodridge braided hose, pipe adaptors & hose mounts,
-Billet adaptor hubs with bearings already packed with grease, and -13"x1.1" thick, one or two piece (additional $550 for two piece rotors), directionally cross drilled and slotted rotors. Slotted only rotors also available
This kit is 100% bolt on, no cutting, welding, drilling or tapping threads is required because all the hard work is already done! Just replace your existing spindles with these fully assembled.
All Baer calipers are 100% Made in the USA from US sourced material and are fitted with pressure & dust seals. We have sold a number of these kits to customers that have had them engineered for street use. Baer's T4, 4 Piston calipers are made from Billet aluminium with 6 Cross bolts for incredible strength, feature staggered bore piston sizing better force distribution & critically use banjo bolt hose attachments - NOT PIPE THREADS! Rotors are a quality 1.1" thick casting featuring directional curved vane ventilation (not cheaper straight vane found on many other kits). Definetly not the cheapest kit on the market, but one of the better quality ones for the cost.
These kits DO NOT increase track width like many other aftermarket brake kits.
Calipers are available in the base colours of red, silver and black. Custum colours are available also to order.
Price is based on providing exchange spindles for us to continue to modify, otherwise a $600 deposit charge is enforced.
